In recognition of his longstanding contributions to cultural policy and legal reform, Mostafa Abbas has been reappointed to the Supreme Council of Culture—Committee on Cultural Management and Legislation—by ministerial decree from Egypt’s Minister of Culture. Abbas, who has served on the Council since 2013, previously led the Council’s Unit for Performance Development and International Cultural Relations. His expertise continues to shape national legislative proposals in the cultural sector.
