The firm was founded by Mostafa Abbas, a Berlin- and Alexandria-based lawyer, social entrepreneur, and European Climate Pact Ambassador. Renowned for his leadership in legal reform, cultural diplomacy, and international cooperation, Dr. Abbas is a member of the Berlin Bar Association, the Egyptian Bar Association, and the Arab Lawyers Union.

In addition to leading ABBAS GLF, Dr. Abbas plays a significant role in shaping global legal and policy dialogue. He is an elected member of the Liaison Team of the EU Dialogue Platform for External Action (INTPA G3) and a steering group member of the Global Gateway CSO-LA Platform under the European Commission’s DG INTPA. In these capacities, he monitors and advises on EU-funded infrastructure projects in partnership with over 120 governments worldwide.
